It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end already. With that in mind I would like to highlight some of the upcoming dates along with the events our members have been working on:

August 12 Apprenticeship Orientation at IRSC
August 19 Regular Monthly Meeting of the TCMAF
Program - Safety
August 24 Classes begin at IRSC for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students
September 16 thru 19th State Convention at the Sirata Beach Hotel in St. Pete
September 23rd Regular monthly meeting of the TCMAF
Program – Martin County Building Department
October 21st Regular monthly Meeting of the TCMAF
Program – Economic update by Pat McLaughlin
October 23rd Clay Shoot at Quail Creek (Cash Prizes)
November 18th Regular Monthly Meeting of the TCMAF
Determine a new slate of officers for 2011
December 16th Holiday celebration for the TCMAF

During our summer hiatus Mr. Jim Goodman of Florida Silica Sand announced that he will again be attending our meetings as new member and we look forward to working with Jim.

Apprenticeship Competition

Saturday May 15th - there will be an apprenticeship competition held at the Tarmac Block plant in Ft. Pierce. Start time will be 8:30 for sign in and a 9:00 start. Come see the best darn apprentices in Florida show off their skills.
